Welcome to by Kitty May. By accessing or using this website and booking our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our site or services.

1. Introduction

This website is owned and operated by by Kitty May (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms apply to all website visitors, clients, and customers who book or enquire about our family and portrait photography services.

2. Intellectual Property

All images, text, graphics, logos, and website content are the exclusive property of by Kitty May, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, download, share, or reproduce any content without our prior written consent.
Clients are granted limited rights to use their purchased images for personal use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Booking and Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm your session.
The remaining balance is due 7 days before the session.
Payment can be made via bank transfer. Details will be sent on the invoice when booking is confirmed.
If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your session.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand things out of your control happen with children ands families, so we do our best to rearrange where we can.
The deposit is non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date at our discretion.
No-shows or cancellations with less than [e.g. 24 hours] notice may result in forfeiture of any payments made.

5. Client Responsibility

It is your responsibility to arrive on time and prepared for your session.
Please ensure all children are supervised and dressed appropriately.
By booking, you confirm that you have the necessary permission to include all participants in the photos.

6. Delivery of Photos

Edited images will be delivered within 10 working days of your session.
Images will be provided in high-resolution via online gallery and with a download link.
You may request minor retouching revisions on up to four images.

7. Image Rights and Usage

We retain the copyright to all images.
You are granted a personal-use license, which means you can print, share, or post online for personal/non-commercial use.
You may not sell, alter, or submit the images for publication or commercial purposes without our permission.
We reserve the right to use selected images for portfolio, social media, or marketing purposes, unless you notify us in writing prior to your session.

8. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information collected (e.g. names, emails, addresses) is used solely to deliver your service. We will never sell or share your data without consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we take great care with every session, we are not liable for:

Delays caused by weather, illness, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances.
Loss or damage of digital files due to events beyond our control.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the session.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved through informal negotiation or mediation where possible, prior to legal proceedings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time without notice. Continued use of the website or services implies acceptance of any changes.
